Governor Beshear announces Kentucky wins funding to substantially transform remedial education
Governor Steve Beshear announced last week that Kentucky has been awarded $1 million to fuel policy innovations and reforms aimed at significantly transforming remedial education.

Kentucky’s public and independent colleges and universities conferred an all-time high of 62,700 degrees and credentials during the 2010-11 academic year, according to a preliminary annual degree report issued by the Council on Postsecondary Education.
